ALBANY- Mary F. Swinegar, 95, wife of the late John P. Swinegar passed away peacefully on Sunday December 12th, 2021.
She was born in Rensselaer, on January 6, 1926 to the late Ruth and Charles Miller. She was predeceased by her siblings: Phila Slyke, Jane Bransford and Charles Miller.
A life well lived; Mary kept the home fires burning during her husband's 20-year service to our country. She was sweet and kind, loved fashion; always donning her signature lipstick, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her children: John P. Swinegar Jr. (Kathleen), Melanie A. Martin (Charles), Suisun L. Cucinella (Max) and Mark D. Swinegar; grandchildren: Megan Swinegar, Sean Swinegar (Anna Damico) and Sara Sherlock (John Kennedy) and her great- granddaughter, Leviana Grace Kennedy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
We wish to thank all the wonderful caregivers that came into her life.
There will be no calling hours. Mary will be interred with her husband at the Saratoga National Cemetery at a date yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of how Mary treated others, please make an effort to share a kind word or deed with someone. It could make all the difference in the world to them.
