Albany- Mary T. Johnson passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 17, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was 94 years old.
The daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose Pazienza, Mary was born on December 24, 1920 in Watervliet, NY. Mary was retired from the New York State Department of Tax and Finance.
Mary is survived by her son Joseph R. (Terry) Johnson; her grandchildren Rose M. (Shaun) Jewell and Joseph M. Johnson; her sister May Engle and her brother Frank Pazienza and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brothers: Joseph and Vito Pazienza.
Visitation will be held from 9 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, August 22 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Loudonville. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
