Mary T. Tervay

Albany-Mary T Tervay (Blaine) 81 died at Memorial Hospital. She was born in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Rose and Denis Blaine and sister of the late Frank Blaine. She was a graduate of Cathedral Academy. Mary was predeceased by her husband, John B. Tervay, and granddaughter, Haley Rose Biederman. She was a homemaker residing in Loudonville for 40 years, and at the Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center in Cohoes over the past two years. She was a communicant of Christ Our Light Church. Mary is survived by her six beloved children Colleen Sheedy, Maureen (Wayne) Baxter, Eileen (Doug) Denette, John Tervay, Kathleen (Joel) Biederman, and James (Missy) Tervay and thirteen cherished grandchildren: Tara (Sheedy) Sarruda, Erin Baxter, Kerry Baxter, Brendan Baxter, Courtney (Denette) Vallee, Kelsey Denette, Danny Denette, Justin Tervay, Jack Tervay, Casey Biederman, John Biederman, James Tervay and Blaine Tervay. Her happiest times were with her family and there were many. She also leaves many dear life-long friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and dearest friend and cousin Beatrice Flanders. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal. Slainte!

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Christ our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr, Albany, NY 12211, at 10:00am on Thursday, October 1, 2015.
