Mary Jean Tate, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Evergreen Commons.
Mary was the daughter of the late Howard and Jean Drake.
Mary was the devoted wife to the late Edwin Tate.
Mary is survived by her son, James N. (Nancy) Tate. She is the adored grandmother of Tammy (Tom) O'Neill and Cindy (Paul) Faggioni. She is the cherished great grandmother of Casey and Kerry Anne O'Neill, Angeli and Reece Faggioni.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Thursday February 16, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens.
