Mary E. Thompson

Mary E Thompson "Mrs. Mary" of Albany, NY took flight from earth to glory suddenly Tuesday May 31, 2022. Mary was born in Camden, South Carolina to the late Ruby B. Outing and Robert H. Outen. Mary was educated at Camden High School.

Mary devoted her time raising her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and being a huge outreach to the community. "You can always count on Grams A.K.A. Mrs. Mary". She had the most beautiful soul and a specialized gift to be able to nurture and transform people's lives. Her smile, warm heart and love for people lit up the room. She always had answers to all your questions/concerns…Even when you challenge some of her responses (family joke). Mary dedicated her life to her family, and they were her pride and joy of her existence. She loved holidays and family gatherings to bring us all together in one room. She loved her Diet Pepsi, fried chicken, McDonald Fish sandwich and snacks. Mary's signature dish was her stuffing (Thank God we found her recipes box). Her beautiful soul influenced so many and will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband George T Thompson, brother Rex Outing, her sisters Nancy Barnes, Mamie Outing-Smith Yvonne Workman and her Great grandchild Olivia Mitchel. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her survived daughters Yvette Outing, Lovette Outing, Shevette "Gracie" Thompson and Christina Whitfield, Anthony Thompson, Pauline "Shelly" Thompson and Belinda Faust…Grandma or Grams, also leaves legacy of grandchildren Sahara Outing, Kiwana Outing, Jawana Knight, Leshawn Outing-Howard, Devon Evans, Sanari Outing, E'myh Outing, Sardae Piper, D'mari Faust, D'mhia Faust, Ayanan Outing, Rhianna Thompson, Shademia Thompson, and Marliscia McCargo. In addition, she leaves to cherish her great- grandchildren, Ju'elz Gordon (KING), Cameron Piper, Adonte Thompson, Robert Scott, Alana Scott, Aliyana Scott, Jayquan Williams, Jamaj Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, friends and her beloved birds.

Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday June 8,2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located at 343 New Karner Rd Colonie, NY 12205
