Mary Weir

COLONIE – Mary P. Weir, 74, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 28, 2006 at her residence. Mary was born in Fairhaven, Vermont and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine Fusco Pedro.
Mary had worked for several years with the South Colonie School District. She was a longtime member of the Midway Fire Department. Mary was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased in 1998 by her husband Robert S. Weir Sr.
She is eth beloved mother of Robert S. Weir Jr. and his wife Susan, and Maria L. Burnham and her husband Mark all of Colonie. She is the cherished grandmother of Stacey and Lindsay Weir and John and Daniel Burnham. Sister of Robert Pedro and the late Paul Pedro. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 8:30 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
