Mary Winsor

GUILDERLAND – Mary P. Winsor, 96, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. She was a 14 year resident of Guilderland and formerly of Little Falls and Ilion, NY.
Mary was born on May 5, 1910 in Little Falls and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Leskovic Pesler. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Little Falls and was a secretary for Chicago Pneumatic Tool CO. in Utica for over 18 years. She was a longtime communicant at Annunciation Church in Ilion. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Hugh) Higley; her grandchildren, Steven (Terrie) Higley, Jeff Higley, David (Patty) Palmer, Jr., Fleda (Michael) Berschwinger, Patricia (Hugo) Rhoades, Michael (Pam) Palmer and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Kasson A. Winsor; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary W. and David Palmer; a sister, Irene Yeomans and a brother, John Pesler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Little Falls, NY. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
