Mary L. Wolfe passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Altamont.
Born in County Gray Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada on February 5, 1931 she was the daughter to the late Wilfred Ross and Ethel Mary (MacInnis) Clendenning.
She would marry the love of her life, Charles F. Wolfe Sr. on June 30, 1951 at MacAlpine Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York, and would later become an American Citizen on November 11, 1954. Together, they would raise 4 children in Buffalo, N.Y. before moving to Voorheesville, N.Y. in 1961. They had renovated an Old farm house on 33 Pleasant Street and made it a home for 16 years before moving to the town of Wilton, Saratoga Springs, New York. Later in life, she received her private Pilots License and flew all over the USA with her husband
Through her life she was a great homemaker, accountant, seamstress, knitter, teacher, care giver, a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Mary is predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Wolfe Sr.; daughter, Cheryl Ann Wolfe; sisters, Yvonne and Patricia and her brother, Glenn.
Mary is survived by her children, Charles F Wolfe Jr. (Barbara L. LaForge), Mary Lorraine II (David Hastings) David Christian Wolfe Sr. (Caretha Lynn Wheeler); Grandchildren, Charles F Wolfe III (Emilee Elizabeth Julianne Loeffler), Robert Christopher Wolfe, Adam William Wolfe, Christian Michael Wolfe (Katherine Rose Madeline), Emily Rose Hastings, Jocelyn Cathleen Hastings, Matthew Aaron Christopher Hastings, Sandra Lynn (Scott Kochenower), David Christian Wolfe Jr. and John Charles Meyers III; Great-grandchildren, Lucas David Wolfe, Shaleeyah Hastings, Beau James Bianco, Brennan Womack, Calin Kochenower, Kaylee Wolfe, Jace Meyers and RyAnna Meyers.
Mary will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Schuylerville, New York at a later date.
