Wynantskill- MaryAnn Bristol, of Hidley Road, peacefully entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on November 22, 2018, at the age of 81.
MaryAnn was born in Troy, NY, on June 30, 1937, to the late Anthony and Mary (Bazycki) Fields. She worked for 28 years as an Office Manager at the NYS Asphalt Pavement Association before retiring in 2000, and then continued to work for over 10 years at Earl B. Feiden Appliances in Latham.
MaryAnn graduated class Salutatorian from Averill Park High School in 1955. MaryAnn married her loving husband and wonderful father, Earl in 1973. She was a loving, caring wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. MaryAnn enjoyed cooking and spending summers with Earl camping at Alpine Lake. She loved getting together with her classmates to plan their high school reunions over the years.
In additions to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jerry, her husbands, Slawko Plekan and Earl Bristol, her baby sister Ann Marie Fields and her brother in law, Dick Merchant.
MaryAnn is survived by her beloved children: Bruce (Tara) of Wynantskill, Ann Marie (Larry) Hogan of Bradenton Florida, Stephen (Mary) of West Stephentown and John (Karen) of Niskayuna. She is the cherished grandmother of Bruce Michael (Kirsten), Jerrod, Krystina, Stephen, Jeffrey (Jackie), Kelli, Haylee, Megan and Michael. She is the adored great grandmother of Isabelle, Abigail and Emmalyn; daughter in law: Barbara; sister of Catherine Merchant and brother of Michael (Lois) Fields. MaryAnn is also survived by a nephew Rick (Candy) Merchant and nieces Lori (Kurt) Mattis and Lynn (Dan) Heald along with great nieces, and a great nephew.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY, 12189, on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the St. Nicholas Ukranian Catholic Church, Watervliet, 12189, on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at 10:00 am with the internment immediately following at Blooming Grove Rural Cemetery, Defreestville, NY.
