LATHAM - MaryAnn Del Signore, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Community Hospice at Albany Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
MaryAnn was born on January 23, 1932 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Catherine (Murray) Eames and Norman Eames where she was the third of ten children. She was always proud of how her family remained close through thick and thin. She was married to John F. Del Signore for 38 years before his passing in 1988. She was a devoted and supportive wife and mother where her family was first priority. She enjoyed spending time with her family either being at her pool or at Hampton Beach.
MaryAnn is survived by loving companion, Jack Stiffen; her four children, John Michael (Lynn #2) Del Signore, Kenneth (Lynn #1) Del Signore, Cherlyn (Russ) Dyer and Jacklyn (Joe) Chilton; her seven siblings, Norma Poland, Carol Alcombright, Cathy (Chuck) Miller, John (Carol) Eames, Elaine (Jack) Gardy, Steve (Marie) Eames and Dennis (Ellen) Eames; her six grandchildren, Kristen, Alisha, Kira, Leah, Kenny J, Jarrett; her two great grandchildren, Olivia and Alexander; her grandpuppy, Cocco and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two siblings, Regina Rusch and Edward Eames.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the 4th floor staff of Albany Memorial Hospital and Hospice for the care given to Mom.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
