REXFORD- Mathai Kolath George, 42, passed away suddenly in a fatal aircraft accident along with his son George on Sunday June 14, 2009.
He was born the second child of the late Dr. Kim George and Chinnamma George in Kerala, India on January 28, 1967. Mathai immigrated to the US twenty years ago. He was a successful entrepreneur. He was the founder and CEO of Kolath Hospitality Group. Hiss hobbies included boating, golf and a passion for flying. Though he will be greatly remembered as a very successful businessman by the world, he will be most remembered for being a strong man, caring father, loving husband, faithful son, compassionate friend and a mentor/thoughtful big brother.
Mr. George is survived by his wife, Annie Kolath and five children, Thomas, Alexander, Diana, Victoria and Sara.
Wake services will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and Friday from 10am to 12:30pm at St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church, 100 Troy-Schenectady Rd. Watervliet. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 12:30 at the Church. Interment will follow at
