CLIFTON PARK – Matthew Cody Siniapkin, 16, of Clifton Park, passed away at his residence on Friday, March 21, 2014.
Born in Schenectady, he is the beloved son of John and Colleen Siniapkin. Matt is the cherished brother of Alyssa Siniapkin, He is the grandson of Arlene Batson and the late Edward Batson and the late Valery and Maria Siniapkin. Matt is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Matt was a 11th grade honor's student at Shenendehowa High School. He was a member of the Math Team and a Shen Next Medicine finalist. Matt volunteered at the Ellis Health Care Center and Ballston Lake Ambulance Service. He was a member of the 100 point Club (Regents Exam) and an IPhone App Developer. Matt was a recipient of the Shen Green Letter Award and the Notable Scholar Award.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 at St. Edward the Confessor Church, Clifton Park. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 at St. Edward the Confessor Church. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
