Matthew W. Lennon
May 8, 1956 — December 3, 2021
Peekskill- Matthew W. Lennon, 65, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Friday December 3, 2021. Born in Yonkers, NY he was the son of the late William and Gladys Lennon. Matty is survived by his loving wife, Susan Lennon.
Matty was a proud steam fitter of Local 21 for 40 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley.
In addition to his wife, Matty is survived by his daughter Ashley Williams-Harris (Scott). He was the loving "Poppy" to Andrianna, Hammie, Angelo and Ava. He will be missed by his brother Jimmy Lennon and his nephew Jesse James.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 4pm-6:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205.
