Latham-Matthew Derrick Wilson 39, passed away Friday, April 29,2022 He was born July 1, 1982. He was the son of Dannie Wilson and Cynthia Page Felsten {Gary}. Matthew was the devoted husband to Wilmary Sabrina Herrera Mendoza Wilson. They were married April 24, 2021.
In addition to his wife and parents, Matthew is survived by his sister, Kayleigh Holmes {Dave}, Nephew, Tristan Holmes, His Wife's family, and many aunts, uncles and cousins, Kyle Behymer {was like a son} and his beloved fur kids Muta and Sasha.
Matthew prioritized and enjoyed spending time with his entire family. He was compassionate and concerned with others wellbeing. Matt had a tremendous impact on many people, especially his friends. He was a lively character with an infectious personality that made people laugh. He was an inspiration to children, giving back to his community, through organizations and by coaching for Columbus Parks and Recreation hockey program. The players gained confidence to love the sport and ended the 2021/2022 season winning their last tournament. Matt was a sports fanatic- He played hockey from age 3 and was a fan of Montreal Canadian hockey, Buffalo Bills football, and toured different wresting events with friends all over the country. He claimed, "he was an encyclopedia of useless information when it came to sports".
Originally from Winthrop New York, he graduated from Saint Lawrence Central High School and Indiana University. He lived in Columbus Indiana for the last 20 years. Matt worked within the banking industry and just recently moved to the Albany, New York area. He was employed as a branch manager for Bank of America whilst in NY.
