Matthew M. Zink, 42, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on July 30, 2021.
Matthew is survived by his loving wife Sarah, their children Cecilia (10), Michael (6), devoted son to Donna (Alesandrini) and the late Michael Zink, his in-laws David and Nancy, sister- and brother-in-law Kelly and Nicolo, and niece Sterling, his grandmother Margaret (Peg) Zink, as well as too many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to count. Matt was a 15-year member of the local BAC 2 NY/VT, served as a Vice Chairman on the Executive Board and was the Director of Apprentice Training.
Matt loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. He loved golfing, camping, fishing, 49ers football, and helping anyone in need. Matt spent any free time he had with his wife and kids, traveling and making memories.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 5th from 4pm-7pm at the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell Street, Albany NY.
A memorial service will be held on Friday August 6th at 10:30 am also at the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell Street, Albany, NY.
Masks required and COVID restrictions apply for both visitation and the memorial service.
Interment to follow the memorial service at St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Avenue Menands, NY 12204.
