Maureen F. Albright

BALLSTON SPA – Maureen F. Albright, 61, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 with her loving husband by her side at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Jamaica, NY, she is the daughter of the late Herbert F. and Patricia A. Adams. Maureen was a 1969 graduate of Ladycliff Academy in Mohegan Lake, NY and a 1974 graduate of SUNY, Albany with a Master's of Education. She was employed by DiNapoli Opticians for the past twenty-five years. Maureen enjoyed reading and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen P. Adams. Maureen is survived by her beloved husband, Robert F. Albright. She is the step-mother of Mary Kate and Heather Danielle and step-grandmother of Erica Marie. Maureen is the sister of Christine M. (William) Ryan and Matthew H. (Barbara) Adams. She is the aunt of Joshua R. (Karen) Alvarez, Patrick M. Ryan, Noah C. Adams, Erika and Amanda Adams and Kelly Ryan. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and her cherished canine companions, Lucy and Ethel. Maureen's family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to her caregivers at St. Peter's Hospital, especially the hospice staff who gave her love and support during this difficult time.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Schenectady. Interment will follow in the Niskayuna Reformed Cemetery, Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Team Sanfilippo, P.O. Box 144, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Maureen F. Albright.
