Maxine Keenan, 66, passed away Thursday January 29, 2009 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Maxine was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Roy and Millicent (Kruger) Countermine. She was a life long area resident who most recently worked at Northeast Land Surveyor's. Maxine and her husband, Frank, enjoyed spending their winters in Zephyr Hills, Fla, traveling cross country, cruises and a trip to Ireland. She was very active in the Victory Church of Albany and the Family Worship Center of Lakeland Fla. and was a member of numerous Bible groups, her other true passion was her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband Frank, her loving children; Donald Dorn, Todd Dorn and Kim Dorn and 17 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 10:00am Monday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be Sunday 12:00 noon to 3:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Viewland Cemetery at a later date.
