Melvin "Lee" Howenstein 72, passed away on July 4,2021 after a short illness.
Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of the late Norma and Melvin Howenstein. Lee is survived by his sister Nancy(Tom) Bayly ,3 nephews Ryan, Brennan, Kyle and a niece Emily. He is also survived by a son.
The family would like to thank his 2 childhood friends Jack Madej and Rodney Van Ness for their friendship over the years and a special thank you to his best friend Laurie Preville and her family for their friendship and taking such good care of him. They would also like to thank Gloria Navarro from citizen's bank, Michael Coombs from Schdy APS, and Hassan Rogers from Peter Young Foundation for their kindness and respect that they bestowed upon him over this past year.
Services will be private.
Interment in Lisha Kill Reformed Church Cemetery.
