Michael S. Archambeault, Sr.

Westerlo- Michael S. Archambeault, Sr., 64, passed away with his family by his side on June 14, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born on June 22, 1953 in Albany, NY he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Sidoti) Archambeault. Michael worked for many years for Main-Care Energy in Albany, BP Wood, NYS Thruway and Self Employed for Mike's Rubbish Service.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Maura (Killeen) Archambeault; daughters: Jennifer Mickel and Catina Archambeault-Stewart; son Michael S. Archambeault, Jr.; grandsons: Jason Michael Reynolds, Michael S. Archambeault, III, Andrew Mickel, Jr. and Tanner Michael Archambeault; granddaughters: Katelyn and Isabella Mickel; great-grandson, Michael D. Archambeault; siblings: Maryann (Edward) Soulier, Arthur (Jan) Archambeault, Catherine Johnson, Patricia (Gary) Neubauer, Frank (Kellie) Archambeault and Nora (Daniel) Bergeron; brother-in-law, Robert McNamara and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is also survived by 2 companion pets, Dakota and Aspen.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Josephine McNamara.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm on Monday, June 18 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Westerlo Cemetery on SR 143.
Michael's family wishes to express their gratitude to staff and doctors at St. Peter's Cancer Center, St. Peter's Hospital 5th Floor McAuley, ICU and CCU for their loving and compassionate care.
