CLIFTON PARK - Michael J. Blackburn, 41, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Michael was born on March 21, 1982 in Niskayuna to Lori A. (Kawecki) Blackburn and the late James Blackburn.
Michael was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School - Class of 2000. He worked at UPS in Latham as a tractor trailer driver for the past 6 years. He enjoyed the great outdoors - fishing, camping, boating, hiking, and sitting by the fire pit - roasting marshmallows with his girls and gram. His dream was to move to Alaska and live on the land.
Michael is survived by his loving mother, Lori (John Manny) Blackburn; his loving daughters, Kaiya M. Blackburn, Jolene M. Blackburn and Charlotte M. Blackburn; his siblings, Alexander J. (Sara) Blackburn, Branden Blackburn and Darby Blackburn; his grandmother, Gloria Stoller; his stepmother, Diana Blackburn; his nieces and nephews, Cayden, Lilly, Mason, Sophie and Paisley; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 6:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
