ROTTERDAM – Michael C. Soldner, 52, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Michael was born on March 28, 1960 in Brooklyn and is the son of George Soldner and the late Dolores (Broderick) Soldner. He retired from the NYS Thruway Authority. Michael had a passion for cooking, enjoyed woodworking and vacationing by the ocean, but most of all treasured his family and friends.
In addition to his father, Michael is survived by his fiancée, Maria Andriano; his daughters, Lena and Kristen Soldner; his siblings, George (Linda) Soldner, Donald (Maryanne) Soldner, Dolores Rogers, and James Soldner; close family friends, Anne Soldner, Frank Andriano, Tony and Barb Schietromo, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 in memory of Michael.
