Michael C. Wagner

Albany – Michael C. Wagner, age 60, died March 11, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospice in Albany surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Theodore and Frances (Humphrey) Wagner. His is survived by brothers Harold (Josephine) Wagner, Lawrence Wagner, sisters Susan (Fred) Lapp, Mary Ellen (Howard) Shapiro and Patricia Wagner, nieces Kimberly and Bridget Lapp, nephews Matthew and Zachary Shapiro, cousin Janice Miller, and dear friend Kevin Klose of St. Cloud, Florida.
The family extends their sincere thanks and appreciation to Mary McKee of the Eddy Visiting Nursing Association for her excellent skills and compassionate care during Michael's illness, the exceptional staff at St. Peter's Hospital and St. Peter's Hospice for their efforts to help Michael through his illness, Dr. Duncan Savage and Dr. Arthur Sunkin and their staffs.
Michael had many diverse interests and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of life, most particularly the many friends he made over the years. His intelligence and sense of humor were his defining traits and ones that he carried right up until his passing. His family never knew of anyone who met Michael and didn't like him.
Michael connected with many people, always leaving those he touched feeling special. He will be in the hearts and minds of his family forever. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.
