Michael A. Casella

Colonie - Michael A. Casella, 62, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Michael was the son of the late Anthony Casella and Phyllis (Rosselli) Casella. Michael was the loving husband to Herbert Parish, Jr. They shared a life together for 20 years and were happily married for 7 years.

Michael worked for NY State for 25 years and was very close with the members of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany, NY. Michael also enjoyed spending time with his sheltie, Patches.

Michael is survived by his cousins, Barbara,Tommy and Sal Rosselli; many loving relatives and friends.

Michael is predeceased by his brother, Terry Matott and his father-in-law, Herbert Parish, Sr.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Sharon Finch for all that she did for Michael throughout the years.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
