Michael E. Cozzy, 69, of Albany, passed away suddenly on August 17, 2022. He was the son of the late William and Georgianna Cozzy. He was the brother to the late William Cozzy and is survived by siblings Kenneth, Maryann, Brian, and Bruce Cozzy.
A lifelong Albany resident, he was adored by a large network of friends and family. He had a knack for telling stories, always with a grin and twinkle in his eye. He was a wonderful gardener and cook, known for his "mashy" legendary stuffed grape leaves. He loved pets, wildlife of all kinds, hunting, and fishing.
Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mike was a devoted husband of 48 years to Lynn and proud father to Christopher (Faith) Cozzy, Jan Cozzy (DeWayne), and Michael (Jill) Cozzy. He loved being a grandfather to Kimberely Cozzy, Jesse Jones, Xavier Irvin, Lena Cozzy, and Dean Cozzy, and great grandfather to Josefina Jones. He also loved his siblings, many nieces and nephews, and cousins.
He is deeply missed already and will be remembered forever.
