Michael D. Templin

BALLSTON SPA – Michael D. Templin, 56, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011. Born in Chicago, IL, he is the son of the late Barbara J. Hardcupf Templin and James R. Templin. Michael was a U.S. Navy veteran serving his country for six years as a nuclear power specialist during the 1970's. After the military he received a bachelor's degree in computer science. He was a self-employed computer engineer. Michael was predeceased by his wife, Karen D. Templin who passed away on December 7, 2009. He is survived by his sons, Sean M. Templin and Michael J. and William R. Sellers. Also surviving is his granddaughter, Rebecca Sellers.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Michael D. and Karen D. Templin.
