Michael J. DeLessio, 69, of Albany, passed away after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis on October 16, 2022, at Shaker Place Rehabilitation & Nursing.
He was born in Albany on July 2, 1953 to the late John and Mary DeLessio.
Michael proudly served in the US Army. He was a sharp dresser who was full of life and enjoyed going to the Saratoga Racetrack. Michael held a compilation of many jobs throughout his life. He was adored by his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Steven and John.
Michael is survived by his siblings Missy Rossi, Michelle (Bob) Rankin, Timothy DeLessio(Susan Rambis) and sister in law Nancy (the late John DeLessio), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York.
Funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, 11:00 am at the St. Clare's Church. Interment to follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
