Michael F. Sawicz

Michael F. Sawicz, 40, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, February 23, 2012. He was born in Schenectady to Edward and Shirley Sawicz. Mike loved spending time with his boys. They enjoyed hiking, working on cars but mostly Mike loved sharing his passion for the New York Yankees with them.
In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his wife, Kerry Sawicz, his cherished boys, Mikey and Cameron. He is the brother of David (Beth), Edward Jr., and Sandra Sawicz.
A Memorial Service will be Wednesday at 6 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 6. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Berkshire Bank 1925 Curry Road, Rotterdam, NY 12306 in care of Michael's boys, Mikey and Cameron Sawicz.
