Michael J. Fitzgerald, 73, husband of the late Christine Fitzgerald, passed away on Sunday, January 15th, 2023. Mike was born on January 6th, 1950, in Albany, the youngest son of the late Thomas G. and Harriette Fitzgerald.
Mike graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. He owned and operated the Saratoga Sweets Candy Company with Christine for nearly thirty years. He cherished the moments he got to spend with his family. Mike is survived by his children, Michael and Kayley, his grandson, Henry, and his brother Thomas.
Visitation will be at St. Edward the Confessor, at 569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065 at 10 a.m. Following visitation will be the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens at 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
