Michael A. Gulnick

Colonie - Michael A. Gulnick, 55, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018 at St. Peter's Community Hospice Inn. The son of the late Jack and Shirley (Dommer) Gulnick, Mike was born on August 18, 1963 in Albany, NY. Mike graduated from Colonie Central High School and went on to work for over 29 years for the Workers' Compensation Board. He was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Yankees and Giants. Mike had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Mike is survived by his significant other of 21 years, Suzan Ryan; his step-children: George (Amanda Bosley) Ryan and Alecia (Maurice McKenzie) Ryan and 6 grandchildren; his siblings: Corey Gulnick, Joanne (Wayne) Darling, John Gulnick; his nieces and nephews: Amber, Adam, Nicky, Matthew, Taylin and Christian.

In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his grandmother, Stella Dommer.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Friday, September 28 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 29 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to The Community Hospice, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208.
