Michael J. Fear

TROY – Michael J. Fear, 52, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Born in Albany he was the son of Charles Fear and the late Alice Mae Owens Sharer. Michael was a talented songwriter, musician, artist and performer. Music was his passion. Michael was generous and kind hearted and will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Michael is the beloved father of Michael Anthony Fear and Amanda Rakowski. He is the devoted brother of Dawn Baldwin, Sherry (Bob) Lynch, Mark Fear and Joseph (Holley) Sharer. He is the cherished uncle of Charlie Baldwin Jr., Jaimee Baldwin, Brettany McAnally, Bobby Lynch III and Ryan Lynch. Also surviving are his close lifelong friends, Pete Mead and Hyman Plesser and several aunts, uncles and cousins.


Funeral services will be Friday at 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
