Michael Joseph Capparella

Schenectady- Michael Joseph Capparella, 75, passed away on July 14, 2016 at Ellis Hospital. The son of the late Joseph and Anna (Riccio) Capparella, Michael was born in Schenectady on January 12, 1941. He graduated from Linton High School.
He is survived by his siblings: Rudy (Carole), Joseph (Terry), Marlene (Karl)Heiner; several nieces and nephews and his longtime friend Jenny Hanley.
Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3 pm on Sunday, July 17 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 3pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at a future date.
Memorial donations may be made in Michael's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
