Albany- Michael Lawton, 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen Lawton.
Mike was a graduate of La Salle Institute and then went on to graduate from Siena College class of 1973. Mike was an accomplished tennis player and avid
Yankee and NY Giants fan. Above all, he was a proud and loving uncle.
Mike is survived by his siblings, Carol Vogel (Bill) and Tom Lawton. Mike will also be missed by his niece and nephews, J.T., Jeff, Janelle, Joshua and Mason. Mike had many close friends that will miss him especially Gary and Fran Zirpoli.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Calling hours will be held from 4pm-6pm on Monday, June 12, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. A service will begin at 6pm at the funeral home.
