Michael J. Mariani

Colonie- Michael J. Mariani, 92, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by family on Monday, March 21, 2022. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Mariani. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Connie Mariani.
Michael was a Teamster for over 40 years before his retirement. He was a communicant of Christ our Light Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his children; Michele Swedick (Thomas), David Wagner (Darlene) and Audrey Iacobucci (Joseph). Michael was the loving "Pop" to Michael Swedick, Michael and Jack Wagner, Connie Hotailing and Kelly Iacobucci, his great grandchildren Dillon Wagner, Zach Wagner, great-great grandchildren, Hazel Swedick, David Wagner, Jacklyn Wagner, Cooper and Zach Wagner.
He will also be missed by his brother in law, Tony Dean (Gail) and sister in laws, Patti Romano, Barbara Mariani as well as his best friend, Jerry Mentz.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Penny Shingley for taking great care of Michael.
