SLINGERLANDS ~ Michael John Matuszek, age 57, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2020 surrounded by family.
He was born in Albany, the son of John F. and Florence C. Matuszek. He was a lifelong resident of Slingerlands.
Michael loved carpentry and he was self-employed as a carpenter for 10 years. He then worked as an HVAC Technician at Eastern Refrigeration. He finished his career and retired from GE Research & Development, Niskayuna after 20 years of service. He made many good friends along the way.
Michael is survived by his parents, his brothers: John (Michele) and Bill (Monique); his sons: Michael and Branden and their mother Jeannine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID 19, all services will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michael's memory may be made to, Lustgarten Foundation, Pancreatic Cancer Research, on line at www.Lustgarten.org
