Michael A. Nobles
January 11, 1951 — June 10, 2024
Michael Antonio Nobles, "Big Mike," to his children and grandchildren, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, NY.
Michael lived in Albany for most his life. He worked at many jobs in North Carolina and New York, retiring from Pfizer Industries as they moved to another state. There, he packaged medication to be mailed to different areas of the country.
He was known for cracking jokes with people he would meet, and he loved riding his bicycle to stay as healthy as he could. He did so until his health would not allow him to do so any longer. He loved listening to Blues music and could often be heard singing with the artist.
He was married for many years to Shirley Foust Nobles. To this union was born Michael (Mike Mike) Nobles.
Michael is deeply loved by his family, and always talked abot how they were always there to support each other.
Michael was loved by many people, especially his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He also had may, many close friends.
He was the son of Zellawee Parson Nobles, and Albert Nobles. He was the son-in-law of Elizabeth Lee Foust, all these preceded him in death. Also, he was the stepson of Hazel D. Nobles.
He is survived by one daughter, Swazett Nobles, two sons, Kewon Ross (Sandy), and Michael A. Nobles. His surviving sisters are Alberta Nobles, Hazel Terrell, Sheila Gaines, and Curley Davis. He is also survived by his brothers, Curtis Nobles, Charles Nobles, Albert Nobles, Sammie Nobles, andGeorge Nobles.
He was predeceased by his daughter Lela Downs, and two sisters, Annie Marable and Janet Robinson; brothers, Robinson Nobles and George Natassi (Nobles); TJ and James. He is also survived by the children he helped raise including Leasa Burch, Cynthia Carolina, Marlene Jeffries, Marla Jeffries, Taquita Jeffries, Elijahwan Ginyard, Cierra Bell, and Kyria Hagins. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved him.
Many hearts are deeply saddened and broken by his sudden departure. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Friends and Family are invited to attend Visitation on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00pm. Livestream of the service will be available on Monday at 1:00pm. The Link to watch Livestreaming will be activated on Monday, at 1:00pm.
