LOUDONVILLE, NY – Michael Patrick Fennelly, born July 4, 1986, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 3, 2008. He is now in heaven with his Dad who passed away when Michael was eleven- they will be making up for lost time now and will love being together to finally enjoy the Dad/Son relationship that they only had for too short a time. Michael adored his Dad and truly missed him. Michael graduated from Shaker High School in 2004 and received his degree from Hudson Valley Community College in 2007. Michael was embarrassed about the praise he received for his drawings and paintings. He didn't seem to realize how good they were. Michael loved to play his guitar on a daily basis. He also loved history. He was also very proud of his full sleeve tattoo. Michael was an employee of Equal Vision Records. Michael lived his life to the fullest. He loved his time with his family and friends. Michael almost achieved his final accomplishment of becoming an Albany County Deputy Sheriff, but in Michael's own words about any thing bad that happened, "Life sucks, deal with it, move on." We will always remember Michael's huge beautiful blue eyes and his almost always present smile. Please remember him with the love he deserves. All of us who knew Michael know what a great young man he was and we will all miss him terribly. He had big shoes to fill and no one will ever be able to fill those shoes. Michael is the beloved son of the late Patrick J. Fennelly, Sr. He is the cherished son of Janice A. Fennelly of Loudonville; special and much loved brother of Patrick J. Fennelly, Jr. and his wife, Tina of Colonie and Amy Marie Fennelly Hayes and her husband, Aaron of Wilton. He is the favorite uncle of Alexandra Fisher and Autumn Rose Fennelly of Colonie. Michael is the best nephew of Jean Rowe of Albany and cousin of James Rowe of Lansingburg. Also survived by three half sisters, Dianne Carroll, Andrea Roberts and Christine Wagoner. In addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins, Michael is also survived by many caring, special and devoted friends, Ryan Belfance, Annie Nardolillo, Chris "Sez" Scesney, Christian Nachtreid, Mike Mullholland, Chelsea Piazza, Vince Soldani, Casey Ward, Ryan Gallant, Dustin Cardona, Steve Gigante, Christopher Vogt, and so many more that it doesn't seem fair to single out just a few. He will also be missed by so many parents of his friends- they loved him and he thought the world of them. Michael would be upset if we didn't mention his devoted Bassett Hound, Gus. They were best buddies and Gus will miss him.
