Michael R. Marshall

MICHAEL ROLAND MARSHALL departed this life on Thursday, July 14th, 2016. Michael was born on November 11th, 1963 in St. Michaels, Barbados to Calvin Smith and Marlow Marshall. Michael came to the United States when he was a young boy with his mother and sister. He was educated in the Brooklyn Public Schools and later attended trade schools finding his passion in both welding and construction. He was a Master!

On June 21st, 2003 Michael married his true love Gina. They'd met while attending the same church singing on the worship team. To their union were born two beautiful sons Michael and Marquis, his two main men!

Mike, as he's known, loved and touched so many lives. He was loud and funny with lots of corny jokes. So dedicated he was to his family and friends. Michael joined and served at the Christian Memorial Church for many years before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon his return to Albany, he and his family joined and attended Empire Christian Center.

Michael Roland Marshall leaves to celebrate his life and cherish is memory-his wife, Gina; two sons, Mikey and Marquis; two daughters, Jade and Serenity; two grandsons, Jayden and Xander; his father, Calvin Smith of Barbados; his mother Marlow Archer and step father, Vasco Archer; a sister Ann; a brother Roshane; a niece and nephew and a host of family and friends.
