Michael T. Silva, Sr.
March 7, 1952 — November 5, 2017
East Greenbush-Michael T. Silva, Sr., age 65, passed away on 11/5/17 after a long illness. He is pre-deceased by parents, Manuel M. and Irene E. (Amaral) Silva. Born in Pawtucket, RI., Michael leaves behind his former wife Juli Shelgren Silva, two sons, Michael, Jr and Arthur (Meredith), and two daughters Derrith (Justin) Green and Michaela Silva Fredrickson. He also leaves behind six beautiful grandchildren, a brother Steven (Lisa), sister Kathleen (Steve) Lemieux and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was a retired regional sales manager for Emerson Electric and past president of SORENSCO baseball in East Greenbush. Michael loved music, was the biggest fan of the NY Giants, introduced the love of Billy Joel to his kids, loved motorcycles, had perfect penmanship and of course, had the best manicured lawn in the neighborhood.
