Skelley, Michael Anthony, 73, of Albany died on July 8 at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by family. He was the son of Raymond and Marion Skelley of Albany.
Mike was a graduate of Our Lady of Angels class of 1965, Cardinal McCloskey class of 1969, and was one of the first registered respiratory therapists to graduate from HVCC class of 1973. He started his 45 year career at St. Peter’s Hospital as a respiratory therapist, rose to become the Director of Pulmonary Services and spent the last 20 years of his career as a registered polysomnography technician at St. Peter’s Sleep Center before retiring in 2020.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Paula Breznick Skelley. He was the proud father of twin girls, Jennifer (Kathleen) Savino, and Jill Skelley (Keri Holland).
He loved his grandchildren Avery Rose and Jase Anthony Savino. He is also survived by his sister Donnarae Norling; brother Donald; brother-in-law Edward Breznick (Kathy); as well as several nieces, nephews and godchildren.
A private service of remembrance will be held on a future date.
