Ballston Spa- Michael P. Stansfield, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021 with his loving wife by his side. He was the son of the late Albert and Jeannette Stansfield. Michael was the devoted husband to Phyllis Ann Stansfield. They were married 29 years.
Michael enjoyed spending time mowing the lawn. He loved spending time with Phyllis and going shopping together. Michael had a fond love of animals, specifically his cat Bella.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Thursday August 12, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Michael's name to Living Recourses Foundation, 300 Washington Avenue Ext., Albany, New York 12203.
