Michael D. Stiffen

Niskayuna- Michael D. Stiffen, 74, passed away on December 12,2023. He was born on January 15,1949 in Albany, NY to the late John and Francis Stiffen.



Michael was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was especially dedicated to Gloria, the love of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends at The Great Sacandaga Lake. He was known to be the "the life of the party" at family gatherings, where he loved to dance.

Michael is predeceased by his beloved wife, Gloria Stiffen. Brother John "Jackie" Stiffen.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael D. Stiffen Jr. Marcella Stiffen. Grandchildren Angelina Stiffen and Magnus Campos. Siblings Patricia (John) Walter, Edward (Whensday) Stiffen and Janice (Pauly) Cantlin. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.





Calling hours will be 4-7pm followed by a 7pm Service held Tuesday December 19,2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road Colonie, NY 12205.

Interment will be Wednesday December 20,2023 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871, where full Military Honors will be performed.
