Colonie- Michael Toomey, 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Jerome and Emeline Toomey.
Michael was employed by the Albany County Court House as data entry. His main joy was riding his motorcycle with his friends and in recent years, he loved photography. Michael had many close friends who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his sisters Barbara Toomey and Sheila Finning (Gary) and sister in law Nancy Toomey. He was a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Michael is predeceased by his brother Jerome "Jerry" Toomey.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205.
A funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
