Michelle Anne Taylor

PORTER CORNERS – Michelle "Mickey" A. Taylor, 50, of Porter Corners, passed suddenly on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Born on December 9, 1971, in Niskayuna, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Richard A and Carletta R Taylor of Schenectady, NY.

Mickey attended Mont Pleasant High in Schenectady, NY. She and her classmates were the last Senior Class to graduate from this school in 1990. She worked at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY for about ten years in housekeeping. She, also, worked at County Waste of NY/PA/VA in Clifton Park, NY for 20+ years as a Customer Service Representative. Most recently working at Rainbow Restoration in Clifton Park.

Mickey loved to spend time with her family and friends and had a smile and laughter that would fill a room. Her most recent adventure was her very first plane ride to Virginia Beach to spend the weekend with her mom and two of her sisters-in-law. Michelle was also an avid listener of Bon Jovi. One of her favorite songs was "Never Say Goodbye," and we will forever remember her when we hear that song.

Mickey is survived by her partner of 32 years, Brent Babbie, her son Brent Z. Babbie, both of Porter Corners, her brothers, Richard A Jr (Tonya) of Rotterdam, Robert M (Lynn) of Schenectady, one niece (Tessa) and one nephew (Alexander) and her beloved pets Zach and Haus. She is, also, survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
