Watervliet – Mildred "Sugar" Grady, 60, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Sugar was born in Carent, Mississippi a daughter of the late Erie Graham and Athan Thompson. She moved to Albany with her family in 1955 and has called this area home since.
She is survived by her son Robert Stallon, grandson Robert Stallon, Jr., sisters Carol Collier and Hazel Thompson-Tune, brothers: Lee Henderson, Jackie Thompson, Hason Thompson, Tracy Grady and Michael A. Grady and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Thursday 12:00 noon at Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 2-4 Ten Broeck St., Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
