Guilderland- Mildred R. Hofmann, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 3, 2018. The daughter of the late Luther and Minnie (Gaige) Dexter, Millie was born on August 8, 1929 in Knox, NY.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Hofmann, her daughter, Cheryl (Hofmann) Crounse and six siblings. She is survived by her children: Janet (Craig) Swider, Rose (Rick) Hofmann, Daniel Hofmann and William Hofmann; her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Monday, August 13 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be at 4:30 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mildred's name to the Guilderland Elks, 3867 Carman Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303.
