Mildred J. White

ALBANY – Mildred J. White, 87, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Mildred was born on June 1, 1923 in Union City, NJ and was the daughter of the late Helen (Schutz) Miller and Louis Rosa. She worked for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance for over 15 years, before retiring. She enjoyed skiing, swimming, her camp at Sacandaga Lake and rescuing all kinds of animals.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Bonnie J. Donati of Knox; her granddaughter, Sheila D. Andres of Albany; her sisters, Helen Likens of Tennessee and Elaine Young of South Carolina; her brother, William Miller of New Jersey; her sisters-in-law, Jaunita Schmitt and Helen Rosa and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence E. White and her son, Larry S. White.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland. Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
