Mildred (Millie) Murphy passed away peacefully on her 85th birthday, Sunday September 11th in Albany, NY with family at her side. Millie was born in Albany on September 11, 1931 to Mildred Van Lieu and Edward Ross. After raising her children, Millie joined the Key Bank Corporation, becoming a branch manager working at various locations within the Albany area. She enjoyed vacations, bingo and casinos. Millie loved our Lord, her friends and family unconditionally.

Millie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Edward (Ross) and her beloved daughter Laurie (Riley) and best friend Bill (Murphy). She will be forever missed by her loving family, her children, Lynn (Ron) Winne, Lea (Roman) Rakoczy, Tim (Maria) Murphy, her grandchildren and much loved great grandson Shane. She is also survived by her loving brother George Ross , his wife Jane and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday October 8th at 9 am at the Church of St Claire, 1947 Central Ave., Colonie, NY, with burial immediately following at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2150 Central Ave., Schenectady, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church Of St Claire,1947 Central Ave., Colonie, NY .
