Mildred Rodels

HOUSTON, TX.- Mildred A. Rodels, 84, formerly of Albany, died Friday February 18, 2005 in Houston, Texas after a long illness. She was born in Monticello NY and was an Albany resident for many years before moving to Texas to live with her son and his family. Mildred had worked as a secretary for the New York State Police Academy for several years.
She was predeceased in 1996 by her husband of forty nine years, Meyer Rodels. Mildred is the beloved mother of Michael S. Rodels and his wife Rebecca of Houston, TX. She is the cherished grandmother of Erin and Elizabeth and step grandmother of Mica and Cassandra.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
