COLONIE - Mildred Karmazyn Salvagni passed into the arms of her Lord on Saturday January 26, 2008 with her loving children by her side.
Mildred was born in Albany on May 27, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Veronica Karmazyn. Mille was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. As a loving mother, she will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor, love of animals and dedication to her family. To her children, Mom was larger than life and she'll be missed beyond words. Millie was predeceased by her husband Lorenzo, her son Lawrence Sr. and her brother Edward Karmazyn.
She is survived by her devoted children, Laura Robertson and husband Thomas, Scott Salvagni Sr., Gary Salvagni and wife Rosanne, Paulette Bosworth and husband Brent. She is the cherished grandmother of Scott Salvagni, Daniel Robertson, Lawrence Salvagni and Lorrie Nassif. Millie is the sister of Kay Lattanzio and Phil Karmazyn. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning at 9:30 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 26 Wilson Ave in Colonie. In keeping with Mom's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Mildred Salvagni.
