COLONIE – Milton L. (Buck) Greenfield Jr., 73, of Colonie, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Milton L. and Margaret Greenfield Sr. Buck was a twenty year veteran of the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was an engineer with New York Sate Office of General Services for many years. In later years, Buck was a school bus driver with Brown Transportation and South Colonie Schools. He was an active member of VFW Post 8692, American Legion #1256, Guilderland Elks and Fleet Reserve #214.
He is the brother of Kirkland (Sharon) Greenfield of Colonie, Herman A. Greenfield of Saratoga and the late Ronald Greenfield and Frederica deGonzague. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 8:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to Christ Our Light Church, Loudonville at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
